Higher Education Commission Fiji (HECF) Director, Dr. Eci Naisele, attended the graduation ceremony of the Nausori Polytech Centre held today at Vunimono Hall, where 181 students were awarded certificates after successfully completing various technical and vocational courses.
The event was officiated by the Prime Minister, Hon. Sitiveni Ligamamada Rabuka, who served as Chief Guest. In his remarks, Prime Minister Rabuka emphasized the importance of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), stating it is the practical pathway to employment and entrepreneurship.
Dr. Naisele congratulated the graduates on their achievements and acknowledged the institution’s critical role in equipping Fijians with industry-relevant skills.
To date, Pacific Polytech has awarded National Qualifications to more than 870 Fijians, with 56 percent of graduates already engaged in the workforce.
